Your personal science tutor, that understands how you think

nearchon

Solve problems. Understand Science. nearchon reads every step, finds where your reasoning breaks, and guides you toward the answer.

How nearchon teaches

From first principles to mastery.

nearchon doesn’t just give students questions. It builds a complete learning path, understands how they learn, and continuously adapts what they practice next.

  1. Build the Course Map

A path from zero to mastery.

nearchon breaks every course into connected problem families, concepts, and prerequisites. Students follow the right sequence, building understanding, problem-solving, and thinking skills step by step

  2. Learn by Solving

    The student does the thinking.

Students solve problems directly on nearchon’s board. nearchon observes every step, understands their reasoning, and guides them when they get stuck, pushing them to make the next step themselves.

  3. Understand the Student

Every mistake becomes a learning signal.

nearchon continuously records where students struggle, repeated mistakes, and conceptual misconceptions. It turns this activity into a learning profile and detailed insights for students, parents, and teachers.

  4. Practice What You Need

The right question at the right time.

Based on the student’s learning history, nearchon creates or selects targeted questions for the concepts they need to improve. Difficulty increases as the student gets stronger.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

  • nearchon is a personal science tutor built around active problem solving. Instead of typing a question and receiving an answer, you solve the problem by hand on nearchon’s whiteboard. nearchon follows your steps, identifies where your reasoning goes wrong, explains the concept behind the mistake, and helps you continue solving it yourself.

  • nearchon is currently designed for handwriting-first learning.

    • Tablet: Use nearchon directly with a stylus or digital pen.
    • Desktop or laptop: Connect a writing tablet such as an XP-Pen, Wacom, Huion, or similar pen tablet and solve directly on the nearchon whiteboard.

You do not need a touchscreen laptop if you use an external pen tablet.

  • Not yet. nearchon is currently optimized for tablets and computers with a pen input because we want students to actually work through problems rather than learn through a small chat interface.

In the future, we plan to introduce Paper Mode, where students can solve normally on paper, capture their work using a phone, and let nearchon understand and guide them from there.

  • No. nearchon is designed to help students think, not replace their thinking.

It looks at what the student has already tried, finds the point where they became stuck or made a mistake, and gives appropriate guidance. The goal is for the student to reach the solution themselves and understand why their approach worked or failed.

  • nearchon is designed to work alongside teachers, not replace them.

Teachers and tutors can use nearchon to understand how students are working between lessons: where they repeatedly struggle, which concepts they misunderstand, what kind of help they needed, and how their problem-solving improves over time.

This allows teachers to spend less time checking every line of every solution and more time focusing on the students and concepts that need their attention most.

  • A final score often tells parents what went wrong, but not why.

nearchon can help parents understand a student’s learning progress more clearly: what they are strong at, what concepts repeatedly cause difficulty, where they need support, and whether they are becoming more independent at solving problems.

The goal is to give parents visibility into how their child is learning, not simply how many questions they completed.

  • nearchon is currently starting with physics, where understanding diagrams, equations, reasoning, units, and intermediate steps is especially important.

Our longer-term goal is to expand the same handwriting-first, reasoning-based learning experience to other STEM subjects while keeping the core principle the same:

Students do the thinking. nearchon helps them think better.

Start learning. nearchon takes it from there.
